Going on a Bear Hunt

We read the book We're Going on a Bear Hunt by Michael Rosen and Helen Oxenbury. The kids colored their own bear mask. I helped them cut out the eyes so they could see. Then we went on a bear hunt around our preschool room. This is an excellent activity for working on prepositions like "can't go over it, can't go under it, have to go through it..."
